Computer Service Rates:

We have provided a detailed (if it is not what you call detailed-this is as detailed as it gets) list of rates for computer servicing broken down into sections.

Regular Maintenance: Very important but seldom done by the everyday user. Open the case, take out each card and clean it and the slot it was in; take the heat sink fan off and clean it, test to see if the bearings are wearing out; blow out the power supply; vacuum the whole inside of the system; put it back together. Easy?? Then do it on a regular basis- Dust and Electricity do not like each other and the looser is always your system components.

Not too settled with doing the above? Ask about a Yearly - conducted quarterly - cleaning contract. $150.00 plus GST and we will attend your residence 4 times (usually every 3 months) and do the above. Non-Yearly contract? $45.00 plus GST per attendance.

Service calls:-On-site service: $45.00 min. Includes travel to the site and first half hour on site. $45.00 per hour or portion thereafter. - We usually will suggest a shop if this cannot be resolved in short order-less costly at this point.

Shop rates: Diagnose problem: Min.$45.00 unless pre-arranged to re-install operating system.

Reinstall O/S: Flat fee of $75.00 plus GST. Includes-Low level format of the hard drive; jumper the bios, install your windows or upgrade; install all windows updates if your system is used on the internet; install WinZip and Zone Alarm (free Version); install internal component drivers-software (CD-RW, DVD Player, sound card, display card, Ethernet card)

Install additional Programs: OFFICE, ADOBE etc- $10.00 per program installed as per your request.

Internal Hardware Installation:

In-shop-$15.00 per item Onsite: $15.00 plus Service Call Fee.

Add $25.00 to add an internal IDE hard disk( on site) as it must be formatted also.

External Hardware Set Up: Same as Internal Onsite fee.

Network Equipment Set Up: Please ask for a quote
